Give Me a Beach in Lux!

This summer was amazing in Luxembourg. I even regret a bit to spend lot of weekends and days away as the weather was so perfect. After listening to many discussions and recommendations of colleagues, friends regarding the topic: where to go in the summer with an outside pool in Luxembourg or simple to a natural lake where swim is allowed I had the idea to make this little collection.

Here you go: a list for you with the many open air pools, Schwimmbäder, piscines, lakes where you can chill still a bit this summer in Luxembourg, but you can also save the tips for next summer already.

Before getting there always check their websites for opening hours, prices and actualities.

Lakes

Esch-sur-Sûre – Lultzhausen & Insenborn

Perfect for swimming, sailing, diving, paddling (stand up paddling - SUP as well), chilling

Remerschen Lake - Remerschen

Perfect for swimming, playing volleyball, chilling. You can connect the visit with a nice vineyard visit afterwards.

Open Air Pools

Parc Hotel Alvisse – Dommeldange

The hotel itself provides many other facilities, such as playing tennis, but you can also connect your pool time with a massage in the hotel`s spa.

PIKO – Piscine Kordall – Rodange

There is a separated area for children and a huge big Olympic sized pool. The pool has very nice lifeguards so there is no need to worry about anything.

Vianden Outdoor Pool – Vianden

An Olypic-sized swimming pool with a stunning view to the castle of Vianden and has a separated pool for babies and children too. For sure the best panorama you have from this pool in Luxembourg.

Grevenmacher Outdoor Pool – Grevenmacher

Here they offer fitness classes and swimming courses for children.

Troisvierges Outdoor Pool – Troisvierges

A small pool, perfect for children, normally not crowded.

Camping Barrage – Rosport

A small, but new pool in the camping itself.

Les Thermes – Strassen

There is everything what a beach can offer: pools, jacuzzi, aqua classes, fitness, slides, wave pool and even beauty services.

Aquasud – Differdange/Obercorn

There are relatively newly opened pools, with saunas also outside and a challenge to try to cycle in water…

Camping Plage – Beaufort

You can swim in the open air pool, or in the winter even can try to ice skate on the surface of the same pool. You can also find tennis courts and playgrounds in the camping for children.

Mondorf – Mondorf-les-Bains

All time favorite in winter and summer. Beautiful relax areas, pools outside, inside. You cannot count the saunas on the hill.

You can still test some this summer or keep it for the next 😊

Let me know if you have another cool idea, where to relax in the summer.

Thanks for reading,

Barbara
